This is interesting.

People are dumping their BTC mostly in ETH and Stratis and Neo is falling. Why is that?

That looks like an incredibly unreliable website to check anything as it appears to be as credible as Bernard Madoff. Gnosis supposedly has a market cap of $1.97 billion according to that website when it should be $218 million. Status, Iconomi and Metal are three that have the same anomalies and there are far more of those. The following website is far better: https://coinmarketcap.com/

Also keep in mind that cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. Any minor fluctuations do not constitute 'dumping'. Also note that Stratis does not even match the volume of NEO. Most people would not be 'dumping' Bitcoin at the moment either as the fork is now taking place. It might take a while for the dust to settle for that.

As far as I am concerned NEO has enough positive events upcoming. If you are not a daytrader and are not overleveraged, these minor fluctuations do not matter.

Hello! Anybody knows how to claim AntCoins? I have tried to press AntCoin Claim -button from the Antshares Core wallet, but nothing happens :|

Is there anybody who have claimed AntCoins somehow?

This (see below) will show you how to claim your ANC, but you should update to the Neo wallet; when you've installed the Neo wallet just copy your ANS wallet to the Neo folder and select it as your Neo wallet.

Scroll down to  "9 Claiming Your Antcoins"

https://www.reddit.com/r/Antshares/comments/6j8pcp/a_basic_guide_to_the_antshares_pc_wallet/?st=j4koihlc&sh=4d95b1d8

Neo Wallet:

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/comments/6p7bvv/new_to_rneo_read_this_post_first_rules_faq/

Hi, I didn't find any NEO wallet. Also from neo.org, they offer only Antshares Wallet. Isn't it ok to just use Antshares wallet?

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/comments/6p7bvv/new_to_rneo_read_this_post_first_rules_faq/
Scroll down page and on right side see "Wallets: Neo Desktop Client (Fast Sync)"

Thanks for the info, but I've just reloaded the full chain, and it doesn't sound very tempting to download the whole chain again, as I think is the case when switching to NEO Wallet and I somehow trust that the Antshares Core is very stable as there are big team behind it. I try to claim my Antcoins via Core-wallet, lets if that works.

Any opinions of the NEO Wallet users? Is it stable/working/somehow better than Core?

You can just copy the chain folder from your Antshares folder to your new NEO folder. You wont have to sync from the start anymore.

I've tried to claim my Antcoins and just got very small portion of my all Antcoins claimed. Tried to claim more, but they are unavailable. Anybody knows what's wrong?

Thanks.

Edit: Got it, I've had to send all my Anshares to myself, in that way I was able to claim all of my Antcoins.

Thank you Knepala for help!

Well, it is not quite clear what you did when you state 'imported your wallet file'. I would not have used any private key, but merely opened the original .db3 file with the new NEO Desktop Client. In case you did merely open the original .db3 file, then you might have to rebuild the index for everything to show up correctly (but then again, you might want to wait with that as that could potentially mean starting the synchronization process over again). The best and fastest way to check whether your holdings are still at your current address is the following link: https://neotogas.com/

Or: https://neotracker.io/ (this one also shows the transaction history which might be even better in your case if funds did leave your current address)

Personally I do not login with my NEO wallet anymore for the time being. I have made copies of my private keys and .db3 files and removed the .db3 file from my computer. I have done this for added security. This way, there is no potential risk of key logging or hackers getting my .db3 file. Then again, I hold for the long term and what I do to check my holdings is just use one of the links above to see if everything is still in place. Then again, it might depend on the size of one's holdings for that to be of potential interest and of course whether one prefers to be a daytrader or a long term investor.

Yep I opened the .db3 file from my antshare wallet.

If your NEO and GAS show up at neotracker.io, then you have nothing to worry about. You could try the 'Rebuild Index' option under the 'Wallet' tab of the NEO GUI. I am not exactly sure how long that process will take though as I have never used it myself, but it did fix an issue similar to yours for a family member of mine. That could potentially take as long as the entire synchronization process....I am not entirely sure, but odds are significant that that is the case.

NEO Smart Economy

NEO

NEO - An Open Network For Smart Economy

What is NEO

NEO is an open source project driven by the community. It utilizes blockchain technology and digital identities to digitize assets and automate the management of digital assets using smart contracts. Using a distributed network, it aims to create a "Smart Economy".
NEO was founded in 2014 and open sourced on GitHub in June 2015. Its MainNet was released in October 2016 and has been running in stable capacity for two years. Its vision of a "smart economy" was set up along with the project rebranding in 2017.
NEO is committed to its goal of being the most developer-friendly public chain:

🥇 Infrastructure friendliness: a comprehensive toolkit for underlying infrastructure development; a mature NeoContract system; multi mainstream programming language support in NeoVM
🥇 Community friendliness: a global map of developer communities, distributed in the US, Europe, Japan and Korea, etc.; active community voices from social media
🥇 Ecosystem friendliness: NGD and NGC, as execution and investment arms of NEO Foundation provide technical support, advertising campaigns and funding for eco-projects; nearly 100 dApps within NEO ecosystem

The underlying infrastructure of NEO supports multiple types of digital assets. Users can register, transfer and trade assets at their own discretion on NEO.

Digital certificates are supported to build trust into the public chain. This provides full legal protection for all assets digitized through the NEO platform.

Facilitate P2P trustless exchange of digital assets. Buyers and sellers of digital assets and currencies will be matched peer-to-peer without the need for third party exchanges.

Turing-complete smart contract, which has high certainty and finality, support concurrent operation, sharding and unlimited scalability when running in NeoVM.

NeoContract supports multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, and Python. Developers can rapidly develop smart contracts based on the NEO platform without learning a unique language.

Neo Virtual Machine (NeoVM) - NEO's lightweight stack-based virtual machine provides shorter startup times with efficient execution. Deterministic calling tree-technology allows NEO to achieve theoretically unlimited scalability.

Consensus nodes use Byzantine Fault Tolerance Algorithm to reach consensus and ensure the finality of transactions. It also ensures that the system keeps its finality and availability as long as Byzantine fault occurs on less than 1/3 of the nodes.

Comprises Cross-chain Assets Swap Protocol and Cross-chain Distributed Transaction Protocol and can achieve atomic assets swap and guarantee the operation consistency of smart contracts executed on different chains.

Introduced Lattice cryptography-based signing and encryption technique to avoid quantum crisis by Turing encryption and decryption problem into the Shortest Vector Problem (SVP), which cannot be solved by current quantum computers.

NEO Client

The NEO Team and community have created various wallets for different platforms. You can download the wallets or access the web wallets below.

If you are a developer

NeoContract supports multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, and Python. Developers can rapidly develop smart contracts based on the NEO platform without learning a unique language.
